Safety & Onboarding Information For the safety of all our members, youth, and staff, we require volunteers to complete a few onboarding steps depending on the role. During your profile registration in VolunteerMatters, you will be asked to: Review and acknowledge the Volunteer Liability and Code of Conduct Waivers. For Specific Roles: Certain volunteer opportunities—particularly those working directly with youth or ongoing programs—may require obtaining background checks and references. ⚠️ Please Note: If your desired volunteer role requires a background check, please keep in mind that the processing time can take a bit of time to complete. These clearances must be fully approved prior to starting your service. Please allow 24–48 hours for your registration application to be reviewed.
